Four years later, Ray has never been arrested for the crime. Detective Charlie Schilling and his ex-partner, Ed Anderson, know that Ray did it. They just could never prove it. Charlie figures it's about time they did prove it. He's ready to push Ray harder than ever. Meanwhile, Ray has met his match in a new girl in town. Her name's Katherine Wallace. Kath is a bad girl. Her and Ray are a potentially explosive combination. Throw in the fact that Ed is having a summer fling with Sally Richmond - a girl young enough to be his daughter. And Sally's just gotten a job at the motel that Ray manages. Ray has his eye on her. Charlie and Ed never found the gun that Ray used to murder the women at the campground. That rifle, as well as a handgun, are hidden behind the mirror in Ray's bathroom. Ray can only be pushed so...

Save your money, dont see this movie. I'm a big Will Ferrell fan but this was just horrible. Very stupid and pointless.

This movie was seriously funny. I laughed throughout the entire movie. There was just some funny off the wall stuff and it was well scripted to make you laugh. I exited the theater in a great mood having had a fun time. I took my roommate who did not really want to see it and she was pleasantly surprised and thought it was hilarious as well. I watched the original series as a child and my roommate had never seen an episode and we both loved it. When it is available on dvd, I willl be adding it to my collection.

THIS IS NOT A MOVIE FOR KIDS. R - RATING WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE. Lots of bad language throughout, tons of adult humor.I took my 3 young boys to see this as they are dinosaur fans and left feeling like the worse mother on the planet. Lets see, my 7 year old only seems to recall the weird monkey constantly grabbing the "pretty" girls boobs, my 9 year old keeps repeating "Matt Lauer can Suck it" and informed me he thought the part where they say (over and over) "tap that ***" was hilarious, my 6 year old inquired during the movie why they called the dinosaur a P*s*y - and asked me what did that mean! (I said, Honey I have NO idea :) ) I would have found those moments in the movie funny had I not had my kids there. Seemed like a family movie by the previews. My fault for not researching it more first - I learned my lesson. Also, I never watched the show so I had zero expectations. Overall, a funny movie worthy of more than a few laughs - but for the grown up crowd.

I am mid 40's so I grew up knowing Land of the Lost. I hesitated to go because Will Ferrall can be so crude. That he was. I told my 14 year old and a few friends. Many other kids were there and many 5-10. Will F. dropped the f-Bomb once which made me angry because there we kids in the theatre. They could have left that out. The sexual inuendos were many and most in bad taste. I do have to say, I did laugh more than I expected to. The actor that played the Will character was on all the time which made it entertaining. I would not have children under 13 see it.

I am amazed at how so many of the negative reviews for this movie start with something like "I am not Will Ferrell fan." I have only one question for these folks...why did you go to a Will Ferrell movie then?? Afterall you wouldn't order a chicken sandwich at a restaurant and then complain in a review that it didn't taste like steak!! If you don't know what you're getting with Will Ferrell by now, you never will!! Will does low brow, slap stick, double entendre type comedy with hits and misses along the way. If you went thinking you're were going to see a "Best Actor" or "Best Movie" nominee you are a sad, sad person.
